OK. We have 5 contestants. I have e-mailed each of you your secret numbers. E-mail your weight to me each Monday morning and by Monday afternoon I will have a spreadsheet of our scores posted on the blog.
I am interested in knowing your weight loss strategies. I have a few things I am doing to get in shape.
First of all, I am a certifiable sugar addict! I am cutting out sweets. This is my 4th day of no sweets and I must say the cravings have really gone away. I even passed up dessert on my daughter's birthday!
Second, I am not eating after dinner. I find myself eating/snacking a ton after dinner--basically 4th meal. I have a good friend whose motto is "go to bed hungry, wake up skinnier in the morning!" I know I can cut out at least 500 calories this way.
Third, I am trying to be more active. I am not commiting to a strict exercise regimen, but I am trying to do more. On Tuesday I went to my daughter's school for the active kids club. I walked 1 1/2 miles with them and nearly died! It was amazing how much more energy I had that evening. I plan on taking walks with my family, going on hikes with friends etc. Baby steps!
